Southwest of the city „Iquitos“ in the jungle of Peru – this is a linking point between the Marañon and Ucayali Rivers which form the mighty Amazon River. Our lodgings are located here where the two rivers unite. This is where the Pink Dolphins caper – these dolphins can only be seen here in the Amazon. They adjusted themselves to the fresh water here. Peru’s largest nature reserve, the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, is situated on the opposite side, in the triangle between the two rivers.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Iquitos or from the airport and drive you to Nauta, using the only asphalted road in that area. Nauta is a small port on the Morañon River where passenger and merchant ships make a stop on their way from Pucallpa to Iquitos. There are a food market, many small shops, a few restaurants and a hospital.

From Nauta we travel on by motorboat to our lodgings, just a little farther from the linking point between the two rivers on the Ucayali.

In just 3 hours from Iquitos you will reach our lodgings and find yourself in another world, far away from all the hustle and bustle. Get into this adventure.

We are where the Amazon begins
